Why this journey exists
I went to Alwar because someone told me about a stepwell that looked like an Escher painting. I stayed because the fort at Bhangarh, which everyone calls 'haunted,' is actually just profoundly beautiful and completely empty at dawn. Sariska doesn't get the crowds that Ranthambore does — which is exactly why we go there.
