Why this journey exists
I've been to Agra five times and hated it four times. The fifth time, I went at 5 AM, skipped the tourist buses, and walked the old lanes with a 70-year-old historian who showed me Mughal water channels most people step over without noticing. That's when I understood what Agra was meant to be.

5 AM start for Taj Mahal sunrise (minimal crowds). Return for breakfast. Walking tour through Agra's Mughal-era lanes — Kinari Bazaar, Jama Masjid, petha shops. Afternoon at Agra Fort. Evening at rooftop restaurant with Taj view.
